Railway stations required reliable real-time surveillance streaming, but several operational constraints existed:

Need to transmit live video feeds from remote stations to the ICCC.
Many stations lacked LL/MPLS/BB connectivity entirely.
Some locations had poor SIM signal strength, affecting wireless transmission.
Required a secure, cost-effective, centrally managed alternative to fixed lines.

Nirad Networks deployed SD-WAN devices as the primary transport layer at all stations, enabling reliable video streaming even where connectivity was limited.

Dual-SIM Wireless Connectivity: At sites without leased lines, MPLS, or broadband, the devices used dual SIM cellular links to transmit feeds to the ICCC.
External Antenna Integration: In areas with poor cellular signal, devices were paired with external antennas to boost reception and maintain stable live video connectivity.
Secure, Centralized Management: Video streams were routed through the Nirad Networks SD-WAN overlay and managed centrally at the ICCC, ensuring secure and consistent monitoring.
Reliable Backbone for Surveillance: Nirad Networks SD-WAN served as the backbone for the surveillance network, supporting continuous live video streaming across stations despite varying infrastructure.
