The NIRAD HUB NVX86 is a virtual SD-WAN gateway for secure, high-performance connectivity across branches, cloud, and data centers.

It operates on virtual machines or across various public cloud platforms, effortlessly scaling for on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments.

Flexible Virtual Deployment

Deploy on VMs or across various cloud platforms. Supports on-premises, cloud-only, or hybrid topologies with seamless integration. Includes VPN segmentation for intra-HQ and inter-HQ isolation, plus L2TP client, GRE tunnel, and Layer 2/3 tunnel support.

Advanced Networking & Traffic Control

Enable multi-cloud interconnection across public and private clouds. VLAN configuration, extension & filtering (802.1q), global L2/L3 networks with VRF, and policy-based routing for intelligent Internet breakout. Transparent support for OSPF, BGP and per-packet load distribution across tunnels.

Comprehensive Protocol Support

Broad compatibility with TCP, UDP, IPv4, ICMP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SSL v3, TLS, ARP, PPP, PPPoE, SSH, DHCP, and SNMP. Ensures smooth interoperability across diverse enterprises and cloud environments.

Centralized Management & Visibility

Integrated with Nirad N-Controller. Includes local GUI for configuration and troubleshooting, SNMP (v1, v2), bandwidth utilization graphs, logs visible for at least 45 days with downloadable reports, plus diagnostic tools such as ping, traceroute, and packet capture.

Built-In Security Firewall

Zone-based firewall with configurable rules and IP/Port-based policies. Supports static and dynamic IP allocation, web and URL filtering (blacklist/whitelist), and robust protection against DDoS and port scans.

End-to-End VPN Encryption

Handles up to 5,000 secure SSL tunnels and provides robust encryption with DES, 3DES, AES128/192/256, along with X.509 certificate support. Ensures secure connectivity between branches and from branch to cloud.

High Availability & Reliability

Redundant design featuring 1+1 and N+1 high availability (HA) configurations. Multi-cloud failover and multi-tier cascaded SD-WAN hubs for hierarchical aggregation and breakout. Includes seamless failover, per-packet load distribution, and both local and remote firmware upgrades with minimal downtime.

Operations & Maintenance

Bulk or single device configuration backup and restore. Minimal downtime upgrades for continuous service. Supports multiple hub configurations for load balancing and smooth scaling of enterprise deployments.
